Expert Talk on Cyber Security

The Internet is a technological game-changer, but it has its dangers too, especially for young minds, who are most vulnerable to it. Pornography, indoctrination to violent cults, addiction to life-threatening games such as the Blue Whale Challenge are only a few of the many darker aspects of the World Wide Web. In order to to generate awareness among the youth to stay safe and secure on the Web, the Department of Computer Engineering at AITS organized an Expert Talk on Cyber Crime and Cyber Law on 3rd February 2018. The session was conducted by Shri Akash Mehta and Shri Sujith, who gave valuable tips on the safe usage of Digital Devices and maintaining Cyber Hygiene.

Alumni Talk

It always feels good when an alumnus returns to share his/her experiences and success stories with others. Sangat Vaidya, one of our many successful alumni, completed her BE in 2014. She secured an All India Rank of 590 in GATE 2014, subsequently completing her M.Tech from NIT Calicut. She is currently she is doing her Ph. D. at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. She spoke about the various aspects of preparation of exams such as GATE, GRE and TOEFL. Around 120 students from the 6th semester of the Department of Computer Engineering attended this session.
