Department of Computer Engineering welcomes young aspirants around the globe to shape their career by undertaking various courses offered by the department. We are a growing department with an outstanding faculty, keeping pace with the rapid proliferation of, and advance in, computing and information technology. The Department offers a course on Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering since the inception of the institute. The course is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Gujarat Technological University with an intake of 120. the department also offers a course on Masters Degree with an intake of 18.
The Department provides world class infrastructure with state of the art Computer labs equipped with latest software. The department also takes the pride of being the only department in whole of Gujarat with Sun Solaris Research lab.

The educational objectives of Computer Engineering Program are to produce graduates who are able to:

- Apply the ethical and social aspects of modern computing technology to the design, development, and usage of computing artifacts; and,
- Enhance their skills and embrace new computing technologies through self-directed professional development and post-graduate training or education.
Career in CE is considered one of the most high-paying jobs and is full of opportunities; particularly when India’s prowess in information technology industry is recognized across the globe.
The pool of talented computer engineers working in IT companies of the USA and Canada shows that IT can take a person to higher levels. Numerous IT companies from India employ huge number of computer professionals in their Indian and overseas office.
The Admission of Engineering courses have been done by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses of State Government for 75% seats and remaining 25% seats have been filled up by Management Quota as per the rules & regulations of Admission Committee for Professional Courses of the State Government.

The department is endowed with dedicated faculty to impart high quality education to students at all levels. They provide a vibrant and creative learning environment for students. The faculty members have a good mix of specializations to suite the requirements of teaching and consultancy. Course Counselors are also being appointed for each batch individually for personal counseling of the students.
