The MBA programme is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and State Government (Gujarat). Admission to MBA programme is given through Common Management Admission Test (CMAT)  which is national level entrance examination conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) every year as per the directions of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India.

The Admission of MBA course have been done by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses of State Government for 75% seats and remaining 25% seats have been filled up by Management Quota as per the rules & regulations of Admission Committee for Professional Courses of the State Government.

Gujarat Technological University (GTU) will give admissions to the students who have appeared the latest CMAT exam as well as passed their graduation from recognized university from India / abroad with minimum 50% (45% for reserved categories as per government norms)
