Shree Tyagvallabh Swami was ceremoniously initiated into sainthood by His Divine Holiness Hariprasad Swamiji in the year 1974 at the age of 22. Since then he is proactively engaged in various social, educational and spiritual activities.

H.D.H. Hariprasad Swamiji entrusted the development of Yogidham Educational Commune,Rajkot,Gujarat(India) to Tyagvallabh Swami in the year 1988-89.  Swamiji took stock of the situation and initiated various developmental steps for all round improvement of the campus. He facilitated the promotion of the information technology(IT) in higher educational institutions of Gujarat State as a pioneer and introduced degree programs in computer science and information technology at the UG level. The state of the art facilities of the commune and the credentials attract student from the entire state. Today there are more than ten thousand students are studying in the campus. The commune has contributed to the development of illustrious and innovative job craters and job seekers, which has helped to boost the economy of the surrounding backward areas, besides the national and global economy. Swamiji’s concept of education and commitment to inculcate human values has come to shape ‘Atmiya University’. It is worthy to state that ‘Atmiya’ is not creating only the professionals but ‘Perfect Persons’ enriched with cultural and spritial values. The Credit for initiation of Universal Human Values (UHV) through the medium of education which is first in the state of Gujarat, goes to Tyagvallabh Swamiji’s vision and dedication.

He humbly  believes that such a world class educational commune is a  devotion to his mentor His Divine Holiness Hariprasad Swamiji , who always insists to provide  quality education to young minds so that they can contribute their best to the service of family, society, the Nation and the World at large. He believes that “Education is the best instrument to restore the human values”.
